The End Of An Era, ‘Key & Peele’ Is Ending After This Season. Here Are Our 10 Favorite Sketches

Comedy Central’s popular sketch comedy series Key & Peele, starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, is ending after five seasons.

The show, currently in the middle of its fifth season, will bow out in September.

Keegan-Michael Key via The Wrap:

“This is our final season – and it’s not because of Comedy Central, it’s us. It was just time for us to explore other things, together and apart. I compare it to Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. We might make a movie and then do our own thing for three years and then come back and do another movie. I’m thinking we could do that every three years – take a year, go bang out a movie. That’s the plan right now.

This is a bummer, both Jon Stewart and Key and Peele are leaving in September. I really have no reason to watch Comedy Central anymore except to watch South Park here and there.

We’ve compiled some of our favorite sketches from the show in the videos below.

.1.The East/ West College Bowl

The original East/West bowl sketch and probably the best of the bunch. The sketch mocks all those pregame football introductions with players that have funky names.

2. Meet Luther, Obama’s anger translator

A true Key and Peele classic. Keegan-Michael Key stars as ‘Luther, President Obama’s anger translator.

3. Substitute Teacher

Substitute teacher Mr. Garvey has trouble adjusting to a classroom full of middle-class white students.

4 Dueling Hats

A duel starts when two friends need to have fresher hats than each other and it gets a little out of hand.

5.The mafia hit

How would a mobster react if he were invited to a surprise party?

6.The Proud Thug

7. I said Bitch

Two men trade stories about arguing with their wives and setting them straight.

8. Liam Neeson / The Valets

The valets show their appreciation for Liam Neeson.

9. Flicker

Two office coworkers engage in a serious game of deception

10. Pizza order

Probably the weirdest pizza order of all-time.
