The well-documented beef between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel has yet to come to a definitive conclusion. Some people, however, think that the conclusion to this whole thing won’t happen until April 2, 2017 – the date of Wrestlemania 33. That date also just so happens to be 12 days before Fast 8 premieres on April 14, 2017.
So we're getting @TheRock vs Vin Diesel at WrestleMania next year right??

Fast 8 opens April 14. WrestleMania 33 is two weeks prior. Odds we're being trolled for a Rock-Vin Diesel fight at Mania are at least 50-50.

Before you go dismissing this out of hand, you might recall that “The Rock” set up a fight with at WrestleMania 28 John Cena an ENTIRE YEAR before it happened.
As for what Vin Diesel thinks about all of this, he took to Instagram this morning and said regarding the feud, “I will tell you everything. Everything.”
This came after Johnson went on Instagram last night to show how loved he is and how much he loves everyone in the Fast 8 cast. Of note, Diesel had already left the building.
So is this whole beef just one big elaborate marketing ploy for both WrestleMania 33 and Fast 8, which share a very similar demographic? Stranger things have definitely happened.
