Activision was set to make the big reveal on the new zombie mode for Call of Duty: WWII on July 20 at their panel at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 20, 2017, until July 23, 2017. But then the trailer for the new and improved zombie mode leaked online days early. The new zombie will be titled “Army of the Dead” and it looks ferociously ghastly and like a terrifying horror film.
CoD: WWII’s developer, Sledgehammer Games, was forced to comment on the leaked trailer. “Leaks aren’t ideal, but know that we appreciate the support,” a tweet said. “We’re almost done with the Nazi Zombies Trailer. Hang tight, it’ll be worth it!”

Glen Schofield, co-founder of Sledgehammer, said he was “pissed” about the leak.
Leaks suck, spoils it for everyone. Avoid the leaked trailer, wait a few more days for the real thing. It's worth it. #pissed pic.twitter.com/VKUQgN7iAr

Earlier, Call of Duty’s official Twitter and Schofield posted gory, gut-churning screenshots from the upcoming zombie mode.

Call of Duty: World War II’s new zombie mode is expected to feature undead reanimated by the Nazis using a body and mind control system implanted in the formerly dead to have them attack Americans. It appears that the Nazis have a Frankenstein-esque laboratory to manufacture an army of undead soldiers.
“Zombies is its own thing but with a similar sick, twisted vibe,” Schofield said. “The world is definitely in its own dark place. Very dark. Fun as hell tho.” Schofield was asked, “On a scale of 1 to 10 how gory is this zombies mode?” He replied, “11.” He added that it will be similar to the 2008 game Dead Space, which was set in space where you battled zombie-like monsters called Necromorphs on an interstellar mining ship. Call of Duty: WW2 shoots into your world on November 3, 2017, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
