Stand up comedian Erik Griffin got into it with a drunk heckler last night and the video is absolutely amazing. The Workaholics star could only take so much.
Sources at The Laughing Derby in Louisville, KY tell TMZ … Griffin had nearly finished his set when he finally addressed a woman in the front row who’d been heckling him all night.
We’re told she refused to leave despite pleas from the audience and multiple warnings from the club owner that cops were on the way.
Griffin got her so worked up, the woman took a swing at him in front of a crowded club and probably 100 cell phone cameras.
Attention anyone attending stand-up shows — buying a ticket doesn’t mean you’re part of the show and it doesn’t entitle you to act like a dick. Just like you can’t buy a ticket to an NBA and expect to be asked to play, don’t go to a comedy club expecting to be bigger than the show. Also, the people on stage HAVE A MIC and will embarrass the shit out of you if you cross the line. Just drink your watered down cosmo and keep the lips clipped.
