Zack Snyder Wanted Christian Bale In ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve no issue with the current Baffleck. However, Christian Bale’s always been a badass baus who indisputably killed it as Bruce Wayne before Ben Affleck stepped up to don the cape, protect ‘n serve Gotham, throw nightshade at Clark Kent, etc. Apparently Snyder wanted to bring Bale in to play some sort of role for the movie. Probably because Bale’s acting ability is of a very high caliber, and at this point the trailers all point to the glaring special-effects-saturated reality we likely won’t see much dialogue/’acting.’ Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor might help out a lil bit on that front as it is. I mean, hey man, no complaints. A huge part of this upcoming blockbuster film is going to be who breaks first–Superman or Batman–and how many fucking buildings they ravage in the process.

And that will all be highly entertaining, but when Snyder said he even pitched Bale on the idea of playing ‘Alfred,’ just to emphasize the dawn of the new era of Batman I def got some heart flutters. Obviously were that madness to ever happen it’d detract hugely from the audience’s focus on the movie as a whole, so probably for the best Snyder didn’t follow through on that idea.
