Kendrick Lamar Covered Tupac’s ‘Hail Mary’ Performing In Los Angeles, Paid Homage To The Rap Legend

“When in Rome,” as they say.

No reason not to pay tribute to the fallen Death Row Records rap legend who moved to LA at the age of 17 when you’re playing the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kendrick Lamar set the entire crowd off with his rendition of Tupac Shakur’s ‘Hail Mary’ on Sunday night at the BET Experience. He interpolated the tribute at the end of “Poetic Justice.”

Great to see homage paid where it’s due. RIP 2Pac.
