When we named Iggy Azalea one of our 50 fascinating women to watch in 2014 we didn’t know it would be because of a lip synch Fail on Dancing With the Stars, but whoops there it is.
Last night as she was performing “Fancy” technical problems reared their head and looking like a deer caught in headlights Iggy comes to a complete stop early on saying, “I’m so sorry, but there’s something wrong with my ear.” (see screencap above). You can see her adjusting her earpiece on more than one occasion throughout the song. Probably not the performance she was looking on the show’s big finale.
At least she didn’t seem too shook following the disaster, tweeting, “I am so sorry guys! My in ears messed up and I couldn’t hear the track. The dramas of live TV. Shit happens. Still really enjoyed it.”
