Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the best talk show guests around and last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon he did not disappoint.
First off, during the interview portion of his visit, The Rock addressed just what exactly was in his fanny pack in that glorious photo from 1996. But not only that, The Rock also explains his pimpin’ pose and the deal with the Kleenex under the elbow. Bonus: Jimmy gives him an action figure of the pose that nailed it perfectly right down to the chain.
All of that would have been more than enough, but Fallon being Fallon and The Rock being The Rock they also did a skit where they played The Fungo Brothers, a “semi-famous” fitness duo whose dance craze “The Squat Thrust” somehow did not catch on back in the day.
