Do Just These Two Workouts All Summer And You’ll Never Need To Step Foot In A Gym

Gyms in the summer are a slightly depressing place. Especially after 11am on the weekend.

If you’re cramming in a quick workout before a trip to the beach or a backyard BBQ with mass amounts of alcohol, that’s all well and good.

But if you’re pushing around weights or binging on Netflix during treadmill sessions while the rest of the world soaks in the summer sun, bro, that’s super depressing.

So what if we told you there’s a way to get ripped for the summer without ever having to step foot in the gym? It’s possible with the help of two powerful body-weight exercise programs and Bobby Maximus.

In a recent article on Men’s Health, Maximus shared two intense body-weight only routines.

The first is called 10-to-1 and involves 5 different exercises with rep counts from 10 to 1.

The second routine is dubbed “A Marriage Made In Hell,” and you’ll see exactly why after you read the description.

Workout #1 – 10 to 1

1. Pushup
2. Air Squat
3. Situp
4. Burpee
5. Lunge

Reps: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Time: 20 to 25 minutes

Maximus explains to do the exercises in the order shown. Start with 10 reps of the pushup, then do 10 air squats, 10 situps, 10 burpees, and 10 lunges (1 on each leg counts as 1 rep). Then repeat, but do 9 reps of each movement.

Workout #2 – Marriage Made In Hell

  • Run a half mile as fast as you can
  • Do 25 burpees
  • That’s one round

Complete 3 rounds as quickly as possible while keeping good form.

Maximus suggests doing these workouts on alternating days (i.e., Monday-Wednesday-Friday) and doing cardio on the days between.
