things we want

It’s time for the weekly ‘Things We Want’ round up of the best gear for men on the Internet. It’s a collection of the hottest gear I’ve come across this week. Ranging from items I desperately want in my life to things I’ll never be able to afford, I try and include a cross-section of everything here in the ‘Things We Want‘ roundup. If you know of a product that you think should be featured in my weekly Gear Guide then feel free to hit me up via email at cass@brobible.com.

Bluffworks Tailored Fit Chinos

things we want

If you’ve been reading my ‘Things We Want This Week’ gear guide for years now then you’ve probably noticed that I’m extremely picky when it comes to certain things. One of those things that I’m very particular about is pants. The fit, feel, sheen, the weight of the fabric, cut, style…I have opinions on all of these things. That’s why I want to introduce you bros to Bluffworks Tailored Fit Chinos.

I recently picked up a pair of the Harvest Gold chinos pictured above (I see them more as a ‘mustard’ color though), and I’m in love with these pants. They fit perfectly, come in every size configuration you could ever conceivably want. They’ve got support where I need it and stretch/give where I need that. There are hidden zippered pockets inside of the side pockets to lock up cash/valuables when you’re traveling. The Tailored Fit Chinos are made from a moisture-wicking fabric to keep you cool in warm weather but the fabric doesn’t feel like/flimsy at all, these feel exactly how I want pants to feel. They’re designed and manufactured in the heart of NYC, wrinkle-free, and no-iron. If you have strong opinions about pants and/or are looking for your next favorite pair of pants then check out the Tailored Fit Chinos from Bluffworks.

Sharkbanz — Convenient And Effectiv Shark Deterrent

things we want

I’m typically pretty skeptical when it comes to shark deterrents but the science behind Sharkbanz seems to be legit. If you’re at all wary about swimming in the ocean due to sharks, you shouldn’t be. But if you need something that’s a scientifically proven shark deterrent to give you peace of mind that shark are going to leave you alone then check out Sharkbanz. Also, for the holidays, Sharkbanz is teaming up with surf artist Jay Alders to create unique shark/surf inspired designs which will be featured on t-shirts. Proceeds from each shirt sold will go to benefit Sufers Healing, a charity that empowers children with autism by teaching them how to surf. Pretty awesome stuff, and a worth cause I’m stoked to get involved with.

EarDial: The Invisible Smart Earplugs for Live Music

things we want

Ear plugs are decidedly not a “cool” thing to wear to concerts. But you may still be familiar with that ringing in your ears after a loud concert that just kept bugging you. That’s called tinnitus and, shockingly, it’s really bad for your hearing. Experts agree that long exposure to levels of sound over 85dB can cause hearing loss, and most clubs and concerts are over 100dB. That’s why EarDial was invented. This comfortable, discreet hearing protection was specially designed for loud music environments. It filters noise so you can enjoy the music, still chat with your friends, and not look like a Melvin with your earplugs in.
