The 2018 Ryder Cup will kick off at the end of this month. First, we’ve got the TOUR Championship next week/end at Atlanta’s East Lake GC and then all eyes turn to Paris where Team USA will take on Team Europe.
Team USA holds the all-time lead in Ryder Cup victories with 26 wins, 13 losses, and 2 ties. Compared that to Europe/Great Britain’s 13 wins, 26 losses, and 2 ties. Combine those results with Team USA having the higher-ranked and more experienced squad and all signs point to a Team USA victory in Paris even though Team USA hasn’t won a Ryder Cup on European soil since 1993.
Ralph Lauren was tasked with creating Team USA’s 2018 Ryder Cup uniforms for three days of play, with each day requiring a unique outfit. Below is the 2018 Ryder Cup scripting which outlines the outfits for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For Friday, Team USA will begin competitive play in a Navy and White striped polo with classic white pants. They also have the option to wear a Micro Fleece Vest if it’s chilly out. The polo has ‘USA’ on the collar, the Ryder Cup logo printed on the right sleeve. The message ‘United We Stand’ is printed underneath the collar and will be visible if any players pop their collars.

Saturday, Team USA will roll out in a Navy pant with white pinstripes. Up top, they’ll be wearing a white stretch pique polo shirt with the Team USA Ryder Cup logo emblazoned across the chest. This look is supposed to be reminiscent of America’s favorite pastime, baseball, and the Yankees’ iconic pinstripes.
