This morning, adidas announced the release of the 2021-22 NHL jerseys for all 32 teams—remember the league just added the Seattle Kracken this year.
In line with adidas’ End Plastic Waste program, the company created the first-ever authentic recycled jerseys to be worn on ice for the NHL.
The new jerseys—called the ADIZERO Primegreen Jersey—are made with a blend of high-performance materials containing a minimum of 50% recycled content.
Everything from their stretch and movement to the ability of the jerseys to hold bright, vibrant colors is a testament to adidas and the NHL’s partnership to produce environmentally friendly jersey players can actually suit up in.
