According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is planning to make the biggest iPhone ever later this year. The upcoming iPhone is codenamed “D33” and it is said to have an enormous 6.5-inch OLED screen. This behemoth of a smartphone is rumored to have an impressively vivid screen resolution of 1242 x 2688 and a display that’s “about as sharp as the one on the 5.8-inch iPhone X.” The exciting phablet is also said to have dual-sim cards, which could be an enchanting feature for travelers or users who use two different carriers. However, Apple may decide to bypass the dual-sim card design and wait for E-SIM technology. The giant phone, which is being called the “iPhone X Plus,” is said to be available in a gold color.

Rumors are swirling that besides the 6.5-inch version of the iPhone X, Apple’s 2018 handset lineup will also include an upgraded version of the iPhone X that is codenamed “D32” that has the same 5.8-inch OLED screen, and a cheaper 6.1-inch smartphone with a LCD display. This less expensive option will probably not include 3D Touch support nor dual rear cameras. All three models are expected to offer Face ID and edge-to-edge display. The two higher-end handsets are expected to use A12 processors. Don’t expect to even see any of these new flagship phones until September when Apple generally unveils their new lineup of devices. Apple is also planning on releasing three new AirPod models in the near future.
