If you have been on the fence as to whether or not to purchase yourself an iPhone 7, this new, gorgeous red version might just push you over the edge.

Beginning this Friday, March 24th, a new red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, both with a stainless steel Apple logo, will be available in 128GB and 256GB and can be ordered online and in stores at a cost of $749. The kicker, in addition to the cool color, is that every purchase will benefit (PRODUCT)RED in their efforts to rid the world of AIDS.

“For 10 years, our partnership with (RED) has supported HIV/AIDS programs that provide counseling, testing, and medicine that prevents the transmission of HIV from a mother to her unborn child. So far, we’ve raised over $130 million through the sale of our (RED) products. Now we’re introducing iPhone 7 (PRODUCT)RED™ Special Edition. Every purchase brings us a step closer to an AIDS‑free generation,” reads Apple’s web site.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also spoke about the launch of these new phones…

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

I have to admit, I’m not a huge Apple fan, but this new red iPhone has to be one of the coolest looking phones on the market. The fact that it also benefits a great cause just makes it that much better.

Apple also stated that any (RED) product, not just the phones, but also cases, iPods, watch bands, Beats products and other items will also benefit the cause.

In addition to the phones, Apple also announced a new 9.7-inch iPad and a new video-editing app called Clips which will be available for free beginning in in April.
