In the recent few decades, Buick doesn’t exactly have a reputation for making sweet-looking, state-of-the-art vehicles. No offense to your grandpops and his 1986 Buick LeSabre. But that bad rap could be changing because the Buick Enspire appears to be a stunning and stylish SUV with tech-a-plenty. Buick unveiled the electric Enspire SUV concept at the 2018 Beijing Motor Show and this is not your grandfather’s Buick. This concept car has bold styling and looks to push the boundaries of electric vehicles.

The magnificent-looking Enspire is powered by Buick’s eMotion electric powertrain that generates a pleasantly surprising 550 horsepower. Buick claims that the Enspire will speed from 0 to 60 mph in four seconds flat. But the Enspire is made for the sprint and the marathon because it is said to have a range of up to 370 miles on a single charge. And powering up is a breeze since this EV’s battery can be quick-charged up to 80% in only 40 minutes. There’s also a wireless charging option.

Buick’s innovation doesn’t stop at the electric motor, it extends into the cabin. There’s a big and beautiful augmented reality head-up display, a crystal clear OLED infotainment screen, and 5G high-speed connectivity built in. Why is this still a concept? Buick needs to create this concept crossover like now.
