Are you wondering the difference between a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat? About $20,000 and approximately one second. The fine folks over at the Wheels YouTube channel shared a video of a Dodge Demon overpowering its little brother, the Dodge Hellcat, in a drag race.
The 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat didn’t have a chance against the 840-horsepower SRT Demon in the quarter-mile. In the drag race, the Hellcat zoomed at 124 mph and finished a very respectable 11.09 seconds. However, the Hellcat couldn’t keep up with the Demon that scorched the track going 133 mph and finished the quarter-mile in an incredible 10.07 seconds. The race begins at the 1:50-mark.
