First up today are the Cloos x Brady Collection ‘Ristretto’ Sunglasses ($189) which is part of a custom collection between the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady and Christopher Cloos. Thinking back a year I could I simply could not imagine a world where Tom Brady would leave the New England Patriots and come play for my Tampa Bay Buccaneers and relieve me of Jameis Winston’s INTs every Sunday. If you told me that was a possibility I would’ve laughed in your face. But here we are. Me, flipping on my TV on Sundays to root for the G.O.A.T. and his gorgeous Christopher Cloos custom shades. These ‘Ristretto’ Sunglasses are made with premium biodegradable Italie Acetat + M49 Mazzuccheli frames and polarized CR39 lenses, they also come with a signature case + cleaning cloth.
The Converse Custom ‘Federation’ Chuck 70 Sneakers ($115) are a really cool customizable line that you can make your own. The upper is fully customizable with prints from the USMNT, France, Netherlands, and South Korea National Soccer teams. I’ve featured the USA print here which you can make your own but the orange also looks excellent for The Netherlands. Hit that link and check out the Converse landing page with all their options.
The Filson Ultralight Vest ($125) is a stylish layer which can be worn year-round. It is filled with 60g PrimaLoft® Gold insulation which offers some of the best warmth-to-weight ratio around and the insulation is designed to hold warmth even if it gets weight. The pockets are lined with soft Moleskin, it has dual handwarmer pockets, a zippered interior pocket for EDC, and plenty more features to make your life better.
I’ve been absolutely loving Janji Running lately and these Janji Transit Pants ($88) are my go-to pants lately whilst working from home because I can toss them on first thing in the morning and stay comfortable until it’s time to wind down. They’re actually built to exercise in and they’re brilliantly designed for that thanks to the lightweight, breathable, and wind-blocking soft-shell fabric exterior but I’ve been enjoying these for loungewear lately. They’re also coated in a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to keep you dry if it’s raining.
Next up we have the Ledlenser MT18 ‘Brighter Than A Car Headlight’ Flashlight. This incredibly powerful flashlight weighs only 21.9 oz (620 grams) and measures 6.74-inches which means you can easily tuck it into your backpack or center console. This flashlight pumps out 3,000 lumens and stretches nearly 1,800 feet. If you want to treat yourself to something spectacular this flashlight isn’t cheap ($199) but you’ll be buying one of the best EDC products on the planet.
Here we’ve got the Benchmade 380 Aller Multi-Tool ($160) which is made in Oregon. The super high-quality CPM-S30V stainless steel and it has a custom G-10 handle for superior grip. While this might look like a badass pocket knife it’s actually a 6-in-1 multi-tool that includes: Wharncliffe blade, screwdriver/pry tip, micro bit slot, a custom pocket/money clip, bottle opener, and lanyard/key-ring hole.
The all-new Flint and Tinder Leather Card Wallet ($50) is a stitched leather option with 4 card slots. The all-leather construction is designed to develop a gorgeous patina as it ages and the slim design is perfect for conserving pocket space.
Here’s something new for you, the Daneson 2-Pack Single Malt & Bourbon Toothpicks ($18) which includes one pack of each. These are great for people like myself who carry around a lot of nervous energy and don’t want to look like a doofus with a fidget spinner. And for every tree that’s cut down to make these the company plants 100 NEW trees so you’re actually doing a good thing buy purchasing these.
We round it out today with the Timex TW2U78300ZV-Diver Style Automatic Watch ($279) which is a ‘faithful recreation of a 1979 Timex dive watch with automatic Japanese movement’. You’ll be hard-pressed to find another automatic watch on the market with this much style and history for only $279. This is a steal and a watch that can be worn every single day.
Last up today is the Aer Slim Pack Backpack ($115) which is a perfect everyday backpack. It’s constructed out of highly abrasion-resistant 840D nylon with 1680D Cordura® side paneling. It has a 15″ padded laptop sleeve and all of the storage pockets you’d ever want/need throughout.
