We’ve seen some amazing vehicles upgraded by Hennessey Performance Engineering including a 6-wheel 600-horsepower VelociRaptor and the 2018 Dodge Demon with 1,500 horsepower. Now the mad scientists over at Hennessey have created a monster 2018 Lincoln Navigator that has 600 horsepower.
HPE suped up a 2018 Lincoln Navigator by upgrading the stock twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine from 450 horsepower to a 600 hp, plus 622 lb-ft of torque. To get this performance, HPE installed a new engine management software, stainless steel exhaust system, a high-flow air induction system, and a large front-mounted intercooler with blow-off valve upgrade. The jacked-up Navigator can blast from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 107 mph. This is actually spectacular performance considering that the Navigator weighs over 5,500 pounds.
The Texas-based upgrade specialists also improved the luxury SUV with custom 22-inch forged alloy wheels, a lowered suspension, Brembo brakes at the front and rear with six-piston calipers, and 15.1-inch brake rotors to help slow this nearly 3-ton behemoth. To transport seven people with that kind of speed and that kind of luxury you’d have to rent a private jet.
“The 2018 Navigator is a world-class luxury SUV and we wanted to take its already impressive power and performance to the next level,” said John Hennessey, company president, in a statement. “Over the past 12 months we have built and delivered hundreds of VelociRaptor 600 upgrades to our new Ford Raptor clients. It made perfect sense to offer a similar upgrade package for the new Navigator, which has essentially the same engine.”
Turning your 2018 Lincoln Navigator into a performance beast does come at a cost. The HPE600 upgrade kit costs $19,950 to be installed and includes a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty from Hennessey. HPE says they plan to only build 200 versions of the supercharged 2018 Lincoln Navigator.
