All hail the brand new Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6. This off-road monster features six wheels to get you anywhere you wanna go and we do mean anywhere. Hennessey Performance Engineering took a 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor and upgraded all facets of the already potent pickup truck. “The VelociRaptor 6X6 is the ultimate off-road vehicle,” said John Hennessey, founder and CEO of Hennessey Performance. “Our VelociRaptor 6X6 is pure aggression on wheels – all six of them.”
The Texas-based Hennessey officially debuted the super souped-up VelociRaptor at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas last week. Among the impressive upgrades on the Hennessey VelociRaptor is a 600-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 622 lb-ft of torque instead of factory standard 450 horsepower engine. The VelociRaptor gets a brand new suspension, a third axle, six Hennessy-specific 20-inch wheels, and six off-road Toyo tires for extreme off-road capabilities. It also comes fitted with custom front and rear bumpers, a roll bar, plus blinding LED lights.
However, all of these sheer off-road awesomeness comes at a price. A huge one. The price tag for a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 is a whopping $349,000, which is the same as buying SEVEN 2018 Ford F-150 Raptors, which have a base price of $49,785. That insane $349,000 price does not include a Brembo brake upgrade with six new rotors and calipers, which is an additional $22,000.
