In a scene that almost looks staged, but then you realize this happened in Florida, a woman in a lifted Chevrolet Silverado drove directly onto a Lamborghini Huracan, with the driver inside.
In the video, the driver of the Lamborghini was moving slowly, looking for a parking space in the lot, as one does. Then, suddenly, the woman in the three-ton pickup truck quickly appears, oblivious to the fact that there was another car directly in front of her.
The driver of the lifted truck was seen exiting the vehicle and clutching her head in shock upon realizing what had happened. Thankfully, nobody appeared to be hurt.
According to an alleged witness, “I was fortunate enough to see the impact happen live. The lady that was driving the truck was about 4’11 to 5 ft. The hood of that truck was too high for her to see a car that’s as flat as a paper. Fortunately, the guy driving the Lambo didn’t get crushed.”
The driver of the Lamborghini reacts
The driver of the Lamborghini, Ramon Ferrer, shared several posts on social media with images of the aftermath. He wrote in one post, “Today I was born again. Thank you God for another day and another chance. Material things don’t matter to me, my health is the main thing.”
The videos of the lifted Chevy Silverado crushing the Lamborghini Huracan have sparked much debate. Why did it happen? Should lifted trucks be banned? What if it had been a person or a child that the lifted truck driver couldn’t see? After all, they didn’t see an entire car below them?
“Who needs something that huge?” one person asked on Reddit.
“It’s baffling that these trucks are legal,” read another comment.
“That’s the problem with all these lifted vehicles down here,” another person claimed. “I watched a guy run right over the car next to him because it looked like an empty spot from his vantage point.”
