Welcome to the second installment of Great Ideas in History. As you may recall, our first installment covering things that never should have existed focused on a four-door Corvette that someone was selling for $213,000. Today, we take things up a notch.
Today, we will be discussing a matte black Lamborghini Aventador SV owned by Russian Instagram model Daria Radionova.
Why will we be discussing this particular supercar? Because, apparently a Lamborghini Aventador SV with a base price of around $490,000 isn’t quite attention-getting enough for Radianova.
As such, she decided to have a team of team of up to eight people at London-based auto body shop Cars in Cloaks spend over 1,000 hours covering her Aventador with two million Swarovski crystals.
Before you ask, why would someone do such a thing to a car like that, just know that this is the SECOND Lamborghini Radionova has covered with Swarovski crystals – the first being a Lamborghini Huracan. That one only had 1.3 million crystals on it, however.

According to CarBuzz.com, her new crystal-covered Lamborghini Aventador SV was wrapped in a gloss black vinyl to protect the paint, then each of the two million crystals were applied by hand.
Oh, and just to allay any fears you may have that the car has been ruined forever, they say that the process is completely reversible.
