My New Vessi Waterproof Sneakers Are Exactly What I Needed For Winter In Wisconsin

This past fall, my wife and I purchased our first home in Milwaukee. It’s an incredible feeling, but man, it’s a ton of new responsibilities, especially for someone like me who has spent a lifetime living in apartments. There’s plenty of work to do inside and out, which isn’t made any easier when there’s snow on the ground. I don’t like having to lace up heavy, waterproof boots every time I shovel snow or take out the trash. Thanks to my new waterproof sneakers from Vessi, I never have to do it again.

We all know the feeling of trying to step through the snow in a regular pair of sneakers only to sink in too far and soak your entire sock. Might as well go home, go to bed, and start the day over. My feet felt impenetrable when I walked through the snow in Vessi shoes.

It’s so nice to just slide on these shoes in a pinch if I need to go outside in snowy and slushy conditions. Seeing that it’s only January in Wisconsin, there’s going to be plenty of opportunities to rock these bad boys.

Styles like a boot and slips on with the ease of a sneaker. Lightweight, cushioning midsole, high-traction rubber sole, high side panels, and pull tabs for easy on-and-off. I never have to compromise again between a nicer boot and a rugged boot when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
