These New LaCrosse Duckboots Are Perfect For Trekking In Nasty Weather

Founded all the way back in 1897, LaCross has been churning out some of the best dang duck boots one can buy.

The name of the company comes from the founder’s hometown of La Crosse, Wisconsin, a part of the country that’s used to getting nasty weather 365 days a year.

LaCrosse aimed to make a duckboot to combat all the rain, snow, ice, mud, and any other wild conditions Nature decides to concoct. It’s safe to say the company succeeded in its mission.

New LaCrosse Alpha Muddy and Muddy Mule

Huckberry just dropped two new styles of the LaCross boot—the Alpha Muddy and the Muddy Mule.

The Alpha Muddy is the OG style of LaCrosse boot. It rises to mid-height on the ankle and secures your entire foot with a quick-drying mesh liner that circulates air as you walk. Alpha Muddy is ideal for outdoor activities and yard work—they make a great boot to wear while fishing.

The Muddy Mule is a mule cut boot. The back ankle is exposed, so it’s like a slip-on. Muddy Mule would be perfect to place out by your front door or in the mudroom of your home. Throw them on when you need to take your dogs out or make a quick run to the grocery store.

Check out the imagery of each style below. On the button under the image, you’ll see the respective price. Tap that button to shop!

Our personal favorite right now is the Alpha Muddy is Mossy Oak camo.
