What does Photochromic mean?
It’s really not complicated. The Photochromic 2000s respond to variable lighting conditions.
Step outside, they’ll get darker. Step inside, they’ll lighten up.
In other words, they change for YOU—take that Carly! It appears that there is someone out there who will change for me!
If you’re interested in a more technical explanation, the Photochromic lenses have a coating that responds to UV light. The higher your UV index, the stronger these bad boys will respond. But remember, only true-blue UV light triggers the reaction so wearing these in your car, or indoors, while stylish, won’t have the reactive flair.
