#2. Before you buy Pit Vipers, look at the URL!
Pit Viper doesn’t sell on Amazon. So if someone is claiming to sell Pit Vipers on Amazon.com, it’s a fake. Don’t do it.

If you saw an ad on Facebook or Snapchat, look at the URL of the store to make sure it’s legit. Stores selling fake Pit Viper sunglasses often have funky URLs: PitV1P3R69.com probably isn’t going to be legit.

#3. Look for a UPC code on the box
Already bought them? Or buying / trading on a platform like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or Poshmark?
Real Pit Viper sunglasses come in a box that’s Pit Viper branded, with a shipping label on the box itself. Real Pit Vipers have a UGC code on the bottom of the box when you get them. They’re in the shape of sunglasses. Because real companies have need real solutions for proper inventory management, not the poseurs.

This is a key detail. Real Pit Vipers have a model number printed on the inside right of the frames, towards the rubber cushioned ear rest. Fakes don’t have a model number in that position.
