Filippo Loreti, one of my favorite watchmakers, released the all-new Rome Collection this week. Each timepiece is inspired by Rome’s exquisite and unparalleled architecture, and you can see this throughout. For the new collection, Filippo Loreti has rolled out a line of Quartz and Automatic watches, in Matte Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Blue Gold.

Each watch in the Rome Collection features ‘3D bas-relief artwork of the Piazza del Campidoglio on the caseback, a polished dome case and bezel, 3D guilloche pattern on the dial, and dual-polished hour and minute dauphine hands’. The Rome Quartz watches range in price from $130-$230 and the Rome Automatic watches range from $300-$450. Strap options come in rown vegetable tanned Italian calf leather, soft blue Italian calf leather, grey Italian calf leather.

If you aren’t yet familiar with Filippo Loreti you should know that it’s an exquisite watch brand founded by two brothers in 2015 who were sick and tired of the 4000% markup on luxury watches. They set out to high-quality timepieces available at a fair price to everyone, and in that they’ve certainly succeeded with the Rome Collection.
