One of my go-to Irish whiskeys that I like to have in my home bar. Sweet, smoky, and well-balanced with an exceptionally smooth and mellow finish. Drink it neat or on the rocks; there are no wrong answers.

Writers’ Tears Irish Whiskey
How fitting that I find this whiskey so appealing. I’ve been gifted this at least twice in my life by people who know me. A little on the sweeter side, but very approachable especially if you’re not acclimated to Irish whiskey.

Guinness Foreign Extra Stout
In case you didn’t know it, Guinness saves some of their best varieties of beer for other countries. I tried this for the first time at the Guinness factory in Dublin and was blown away. An excellent choice if your local Guinness purveyor doesn’t do a proper pour.

I had a feeling this was going to be a good NA when I saw it on tap everywhere in Ireland and the UK. When it comes to beer on tap, there’s no pandering over there. An NA this good doesn’t have to be reserved for Dry January.
