Ujjo was created when their founder was dared one morning to try a dab of hot sauce in her coffee. The experience reminded her of growing up drinking her grandmother’s unique spiced chai coffee.
Fast forward to today and Ujjo sells spicy coffee hot sauce to over 48 states and 16 different countries.
Now technically Ujjo Hot Sauce creates a drink called “spicy coffee,” and the aim of the spice is to add a little kick to the drink. It’s not made to mask the taste of coffee—if anything, it highlights the natural flavors more.
Ujjo’s Sampler Pack contains two specialty hot sauce bottles to put in your coffee. There’s a bottle for dark roast blends and one for light roast blends. The light roast bottle has an earth flavor with radiant notes of citrus and ginger.
As for the dark roast hot sauce, warm notes of cocoa, molasses, and cinnamon are present.
All you have to do is add a couple of dabs to your coffee and stir with a spoon. What’s cool is you can use the Ujjo Coffee Hot Sauce for tea, cocktails, deserts, marinades, and even ice cream.
You can shop the Ujjo Sampler Pack over on Huckberry right now. Each bottle is 5 fluid ounces, and the price of the pack is $28.
