One of New Balance’s most popular models this past year has been the 57/40. They’ve got the look and comfort of a dad shoe, but they’re not too chunky or tacky. This makes it so you can put together a well-styled outfit when going out to the bar or making a day trip to the city.
The 57/40 comes in a number of colors, but we love the grey and white colorways. Today’s outfit revolves around a modern everyday look with just the right amount of streetwear influence.
What to Wear with New Balance 57/40s
One of the easiest outfits you can create for the cold weather is a hoodie and sneakers. A neutral-colored hoodie like this black 10-Year Pullover from Flint and Tinder will do the trick.
We love a good jogger pant, especially when they’ve got the right cut (not too tight, not too baggy). These khaki 365 Joggers from Flint and Tinder come in a tapered cut that gives your legs and seat room while also slimming down as you move to the ankle.
For the tee, a Todd Snyder + Champion jersey is the way to go. We love the vintage-inspired look and softness. Today we’re going with the red Mulberry color.
And on the wrist we’ve got a modern take on an early dive watch design, the TS x Timex Navi XL. The stainless steel case measures 41mm and has water resistance up to 100 meters. The timepiece is anchored to the wrist with a strong, tan-colored fabric strap.
