Caroline Wozniacki was eliminated from the French Open last week in the quarterfinals by eventual champ Jelena Ostapenko. Caroline wasn’t about to let the loss spoil her mood and traveled to Italy with her apparent boyfriend, David Lee. On Sunday, the bikini-clad Wozniacki posted an Instagram photo with San Antonio Spurs forward that had the caption: “Having the best time with my love! #Sardinia,”
There were rumors going back to December that the two professional athletes were dating. In February, the 26-year-old tennis star posted a photo on Snapchat about the roses the 34-year-old NBA player gave her for Valentine’s Day.
In April, Wozniacki wore Lee’s Spurs jersey.
The same month, Caroline also posted how Lee “makes her smile every single day.”
Caroline’s brother, Patrick Wozniacki, confirmed the two are dating to Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet. “I think it’s really good. … He’s a clever guy, also considerate. … And he is obviously very athletic as a professional basketball player,” Patrick said.
Hopefully, this relationship goes over better than the one with PGA star Rory McIlory, which ended in 2014.
