Nothing about this punt return makes sense. Nothing. It almost looks staged. It’s almost as if the kids were told to look like complete donkeys while trying to make a tackle. At one point, Cliff Kurker was surrounded by 8 players, all within 2-3 feet of him. He escaped.
I’m certainly not downplaying the talents of one, Cliff Kurker, but every single one of those defenders should turn in their jerseys. Like, just walk back to the locker room, take off the helmet and pads and call it a career.
