This is 38-year-old Aevin Dugas. She is the world record holder for biggest afro. Today on The Doctors, its circumference measured an astounding 4’5″. Amazing.
According to Dugas, the afro takes hours for her to prepare. First, she shampoos it, then she adds as many as five different conditioners. After placing it into 8 braids, she begins picking it out. The whole process is tedious but well worth it for Dugas—a proponent of staying natural having suffered chemical burns from relaxers.
