You’ve just got to feel for people dealt a crap hand right out of the womb.
An eight-year-old boy from India named Kaleem has doctors scratching their heads (with their own hands) trying to figure out the cause of the massive swelling in the poor kid’s hands. The hands have ballooned to more than 28 pounds.
The kid’s hands are now so massive they measure almost 13 inches from the base of his palm to the end of his middle finger. The swelling has also occurred in his chest, biceps and forearms, leaving the kid looking like a modern day Popeye.
Life is, obviously, not so great for poor Kaleem. He’s unable to perform simple tasks like tying his own shoes or getting dressed. He’s also being bullied in school because, no matter what the condition, kid’s are assholes.
His mother Haleema said she knew Kaleem was different at birth. She feels powerless to help.
