Christian Bale is known for being, uh, well, dedicated when it comes to the roles he portrays so the fact that he wore Val Kilmer’s batsuit when auditioning for the role of Batman should come as no surprise. Hilarious? Yes. But not a surprise. At least it wasn’t Clooney’s nipple suit.
FYI, The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition box set comes out on Blu-ray tomorrow, September 24, with Bale still wearing the cool batsuit, one would assume.
