Coconut water with thai chili is good for chugging and for hangovers

A new coconut water with thai chili extract actually makes the world’s foremost hangover cure actually drinkable. I’ve been waiting for this moment since the moment opaque water became trendy with the Whole Foods crowd.

People have been touting how amazing coconut water is for a few years now. For me, it was utterly undrinkable. It didn’t matter if it was room temperature or freezing cold, it tasted disgusting. I reminded me of something people in LA would choke down in an effort to be healthy, similar to carrying around a disgusting green smoothie. At least those had valuable nutrients. Coconut water was just torture.

A month ago someone offered to send me a few bottles of Taste Nirvana Real Coconut Water with thai chili. I’m a sucker for anything with chili, so I reluctantly agreed. I assumed I would hate it as well, but I’ll give just about anything a shot. I’m glad I did.

Don’t get me wrong; I still hate coconut water. This was much better than any of the alternatives I’ve tried though. It could have used at least twice as much chili because the spice acted more as a counter-agent, but it worked well to make the drink enjoyable.

When I first time heard about Taste Nirvana’s coconut water with chili extract, I mistakenly thought it was made with good old Rooster Sauce, sriracha. Unfortunately that isn’t the case, but I already had an aped chugging contest in my mind. LA Beast once chugged 3 bottles of sriracha, and dammit I was going to do the same. Much like my pansy version of the milk chug though, I took the easy way out…
