HBO Films latest undertaking is Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight. It looks to be a great movie, but you might be disappointed if you’re just looking for more Will Smith boxing action. This film is all about his decision to dodge the Vietnam War, the fallout, and the eventual court case. It’s an interesting an important story to tell, just be aware that you aren’t going to be watching Rumble in the Jungle Part 2.
Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight premieres October 5th. Better brush up on the war so you don’t sound like an idiot while arguing about whether you would have done what Ali did.
MUHAMMAD ALI’S GREATEST FIGHT looks at Muhammad Ali’s historic Supreme Court battle from behind closed doors. When Ali was drafted into the Vietnam War at the height of his boxing career, his claim to conscientious objector status led to a controversial legal battle that rattled the U.S. judicial system right up to the highest court in the land.
