What if The Matrix had less fighting the machines and more fighting each other? You’d have Keanu Reeve’s new movie, Man of Tai Chi. The first trailer doesn’t offer much in terms of story, but there is a lot of kicking. The movie is Neo’s directorial debut, but he made sure to pull a Tyler Perry and act as well. Keanu plays the bad guy, which just doesn’t sit right with me.
The fight choreographer for the movie is Yuen Woo Ping of The Matrix and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, so you have a pretty good idea what to expect. Don’t confuse this with Tai Chi Hero, though. We apparently just have an abundance of movies about Tai Chi. No complaints here.
