This time the hot vampire is a chick, which automatically makes it a better movie. Directed by Xan Cassavetes, Kiss Of The Damned is being pitched somewhere between Twilight and True Blood on the vampire sex spectrum, so less waiting for marriage and more bumping uglies when the lights go out. Milo Ventimiglia plays a screenwriter who meets an alluring young lady at a New England video store and finds himself sucked into the world of the undead. The flick had good buzz at the Venice Film Festival for its full-on homage to the sexy horror movies of the late 1960s. Kiss Of The Damned is in theaters on May 3rd.
