If you don’t know why that’s a big deal, you need to find out. Klovn is a Danish TV show that’s probably best described as a Far North Curb Your Enthusiasm, recounting the adventures of comedian Frank and his circle of friends. But this show pushes things a lot farther than Curb ever does – I don’t think Larry David ever used peer pressure to make a friend do heroin. A movie was made after the show went off the air (it’s on Netflix and it’s amazing), but now Hulu is bringing the whole damn show over to American audiences (with subtitles) on July 16th. Awesome.
