Man of Steel will never escape comparisons to The Dark Knight, so why not embrace it? This trailer mashup shows how awesome a Superman vs Joker movie would have been. The two films flow together so seamlessly that, had I been stuck under a rock for the past five years, I might think they really did make a cross-over comic movie. Batman and Superman are both DC, so it’s certainly not out of the question.
Christopher Nolan apparently really likes the “turn him over or people die” plot device. I guess human suffering is the easiest weapon villains have to use against goody two-shoes superheros, but I would have thought General Zod could have done better though.
