Miami had the worst sports week ever

The Richie Incognito debacle, buzzer beaters, a loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs—the city of Miami had a really, really bad sports week. Here are some of the lowlights.

The Miami Heat

On Saturday night, the Heat lost to the lowly Boston Celtics at home in dramatic fashion when Jeff Green heaved a desperation three in the corner. LeBron was so sad.

As if their loss to FSU wasn’t bad enough, the ‘U’ got manhandled by Virginia Tech 42-24. The game featured some spectacular bloopers—a punt miscue, a kickoff return fumble and a punt return fumble. And oh yeah, some really, really spotty tackling.

The Florida Panthers

The Panthers just ended a 9-game losing streak–4 of those losses came in overtime. On Sunday, Scottie Upshall got sent into the Rangers bench.

The Miami Dolphins

ESPN

First thing’s first. The Dolphins lost to the Tampa Bay Bucs. A team that hadn’t won a game all season. A team whose coach will likely get fired at season’s end. A team that has more MRSA victims than running backs.

FOX

The Richie Incognito debacle. We don’t even need to add anything else here.

Then this–Jeff Ireland’s info gets passed around Dolphins Twitter. The results were spectacular.

Ok fine, the Marlins didn’t do anything this week. But they’re the Miami Marlins, so, yeah.
