Michael Vick was forced to cancel three book appearances due to safety concerns. His book, “Michael Vick: Finally Free” appears to have angered dog lovers who may or not be of sound mind.
Among some of the threats he received on the Barnes and Noble Facebook page:
“I would go there to slit your throat knowing how you treat animals.”
“hope your kids don’t fall in a pool with a battery.”
“I would snap your neck if I met you, your [sic] a piece of trash.”
Guys, remember when Ray Lewis lied about that homicide? Remember when Donte Stallworth killed a guy drunk driving? Remember when (insert athlete) beat up his wife/girlfriend?
Get over it people. Vick did some f-cked up things. Things most of us find disgusting and repulsive. Guess what? There’s a lot of folks you deal with on an everyday basis who are just as disgusting and repulsive. People who, frankly, are the scum of the earth to their spouses and kids.
Are you hunting them down on Facebook? Are you threatening them? Are you wishing death on their children?
This has become an issue, not of animal rights but of human rights. Something many of you seem ignorant to.
