In his short time as the holy man in charge, Pope Francis has done many things to show he’s a man of the people. There is nothing us common folk do more than litter our language with curse words.
So now does the Pope, but because we don’t speak Italian, here’s an explanation of exactly what the Holy Father said in the video above:
The pontiff was speaking from a window in St Peter’s Square when he accidentally muddled the Italian word “caso” — which means “case” — with “cazzo” — which can translate to “f–k” or sometimes “s–t.” “If each one of us does not amass riches only for oneself, but half for the service of others, in this f–k,” he said, before pausing.
Jesus Christ that’s pretty funny. But the Pope has nothing on this kid.
