Sadly, today’s “meanwhile in Russia” was not filmed on a dashboard cam. Things are changing rapidly over there. On a recent flight from Turkey to the homeland, members of Russian soccer team FC Chernomorets got into it with a drunk and disorderly passenger. Words were exchanged and shoving commenced. The drunk man eventually lost the battle and was tied up—presumably for authorities. Or maybe the team used him as a punching bag for the flight. I don’t know.
Moral of the story: don’t get drunk on planes with Russians lest you incur the wrath of a mob fueled by booze.
