Serena Williams tweets out some lovely bikini pics

Remember when people were like, “oh my God, Serena’s overweight, Serena will never return to form, Serena won’t win a major again.” Oops. She’s won 3 out of the last 4 Grand Slams and is the overwhelming favorite at next month’s Wimbledon.

Her success in large part has to do with getting back in shape, shedding those pounds that had slowed her down. She’s quite proud of her new, slimmer figure and is tweeting out bikini pics again.

So, yea, wow! If Serena can keep her weight in check, she’ll catch Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova for career Grand Slams by the U.S. Open. Two years ago, that seemed not only unlikely but frankly, improbable.
