Get ready to pay a hefty price for tickets to the World Series. The cheapest standing room ticket (on the secondary market) for tonight’s game is $315. The cheapest seat, Row 17 of the grandstand, will run you $330.
Here’s a view from that seat (via Stubhub).
Why would you shell out that kind of money for such an awful view? Wouldn’t you rather watch at a bar or a big screen? The nostalgia of “I was at a World Series game” is negated when you can’t watch said World series game.
By the way, tickets at Busch Stadium for Game 3 are running at ~$420, though that will change as we get closer to Saturday.
