Just when you thought Bud Light ended their superstitions ad campaign, they took it to new extremes. They dropped off 1,100 cases of Bud Light at Shane Battier’s house to reward his brand loyalty. What would you do with a semi full of beer?
The idea came from this quote back in March:
“Athletes are all superstitious and even if they don’t admit it, there’s a routine and just a cadence to our days. Especially when things go well, you can see us try to replicate it. I try to drink the same beer – Bud Light – but that’s about it. You never know. I don’t want to chance luck and switch up brands, so I’m staying loyal to Bud Light.”
You have to think that Battier will be throwing one hell of a party to end the season. It will be the first time in decades that an NBA championship is celebrated in a backyard with Bud Light instead of a club with Armand de Brignac.
