For just one episode. Not even an episode. Like an episodette or something. Time hasn’t been all too kind to Ricky Gervais since The Office wrapped. It’s kind of hard to follow up creating and starring in one of the best television comedies of all time, though. Since then, he’s had some hits (Extras) and some misses (all the movies he made, plus the horrific Derek). But now, in a pretty big shocker, he’s released this teaser that indicates he’ll be stepping back into the role that made him famous as David Brent for a one-off special airing on March 15th. The special is for “Red Nose Day,” a yearly UK event that uses comedians to raise money for charity. Here’s the teaser clip – what do you think?
