Every video game company gets movies but Nintendo. Is that fair? What about Legend Of Zelda? Twenty years ago, Hollywood made a Super Mario Bros movie and it bombed hard, becoming one of the biggest flops in film history. Since then, Nintendo has been notoriously shy of letting their properties cross over to the cinema screen (well, except for Pokemon, but that’s different). In 2006, animation studio Imagi pitched the company on an animated Legend Of Zelda movie with this frankly awesome teaser reel, but Nintendo shot them down. Imagi would go on to make the new Astro Boy movie and other properties, but the likelihood of a Zelda movie still remains pretty low.
