Robots vs. monsters. It’s just like every family reunion I can remember. Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim is probably my must-see movie of the summer – a high-tech take on all of those classic Japanese Godzilla vs. the world flicks with an awesome cast and tons of non-CGI effects? That’s basically movie perfection. Variety just dropped a chunk of new images, including some behind-the-scenes shots of how they pulled off all this craziness as well as some totally awesome concept art. Pacific Rim opens on July 12th.
